In 2004, Director Wolfgang Petersen directed and released the movie titled Troy. This movie is a great representation of Homer's The Iliad. It mainly illustrates the more adventurous and gruesome side of the epic poem but it does such a great job at doing so. Even better Petersen chose such remarkable actors for all of the main characters that each gave the book life through the movie.
